Altogether our management team has over 100 years experience in senior positions, and their wide ranging and varied expertise has enabled us to deliver innovative solutions across a wide range of operational areas, not just IT.

Owen Daley – Founder & Managing Director

As the founder of SilverBug, the business represents the culmination of numerous years of experience, hard work and time invested in Information Technology.

Owen is a highly successful IT Professional whose career prior to SilverBug has seen him hold significant positions within companies such as Microsoft, HP, IBM, Barclays and Lloyds to name a few. Alongside this Owen has travelled the globe undertaking high profile positions within business critical projects across South America, Asia, Africa and mainland Europe.

He remains highly regarded within the IT fraternity and to this day receives regular requests to assist clients of all sizes in providing business due diligence within an IT capacity.

Lindsey Moran – Group Operations Director

Lindsey joined SilverBug in 2008 as the company’s Group Operations Director and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day to day operations and the successful delivery of service.

To say that Lindsey’s background is varied is a minor understatement - holding 2 degrees and a teaching qualification, past job roles have included Head of Crime and Disorder for Manchester City Council, and Advisor to the Cabinet Office.

Lindsey is married with a young daughter and shares her home with three chickens, two cats and a dog.

Maria Alvarez - Head of Sales

Maria is responsible for directing and leading SilverBug’s sales strategy, with a particular emphasis on new business development. Since joining as Head of Sales at the beginning of October 2010, Maria has focused her attention on developing SilverBug’s sales organisation to deliver on our aggressive growth goals, particularly in the area of managed services.

With over 10 years experience in various senior sales positions in the IT services industry Maria brings a wealth of knowledge and commercial acumen to the role. She has extensive technical and commercial experience in the managed services market as well as a strong understanding of the security and compliance market.

Maria is Fluent in 6 languages and has lived and worked in 5 different countries. She now lives with her partner and 2 teenage daughters.

Phil Williams – Technical Manager

Phil joined SilverBug in 2003 and is responsible for all things technical.

Leaving university with a degree in languages and computing, Phil combined his two passions and established his own business in France as a technical translator. After seeing numerous successes in this role he returned to England and completed work for a wide range of companies including Gillette, Dell, the BBC and Universal Studios.

Phil is married with a young daughter and is an avid football fan.
